The Skiffle Project : Community Music Resources
- You’d love to get out the house and do something musical but have no idea where to start…
- You’ve heard music and singing is good for mental health and respiratory wellbeing and want to know more…
- You’ve always wanted to sing but not sure you can…
- You’ve been singing or playing an instrument a while but lack confidence playing with others…
- You used to play an instrument years ago, you’re very rusty, but want to get back into it…
If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the above, then Launceston Community Music is for you!
We have drums and percussion available to use, and a guitarist to provide some rhythm and harmony to get us started. We can accommodate almost any instrument (well, maybe not a pipe organ, due to space limitations!!) – if you’re unsure please get in touch and check. Absolute beginners very welcome. We’ll also be providing space and time to chat with other folks over a cuppa.
Sessions are Thursdays 6.30-9.30pm term-time, Launceston town centre – please email, text or call for details and to book a place – 07941199001
Sessions are free of charge, but a small donation is always appreciated.
Suitable for 11-111+ years; if you have younger children interested please get in touch.
Nervous? Pop along for a cuppa and listen to what we get up to, no need to take part until you’re happy to.
